چکیده

The satisfaction of electricity customers and environmental constraints imposed have made the trend towards renewable energies making them more essential due to their advantages as reducing power losses ameliorating system’s voltage profiles reliability. This article addresses optimal location size multiple distributed generations (DGs) based on solar photovoltaic panels (PV) connected electrical distribution network (EDN) using various proposed hybrid particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms chaotic maps adaptive acceleration coefficients. These are implemented optimally allocate DGs PV (PV-DG) into EDN by minimizing multi-objective function (MOF), which is represented sum three technical parameters total active loss (TAPL), deviation (TVD), operation time (TOT) overcurrent relays (OCRs). effectiveness PSO were validated both standards IEEE 33-bus, 69-bus. integrating PV-DGs EDNs reduced TAPL percentage 56.94 % for 33-bus 61.17 69-bus test system, enhanced while TVD 37.35 32.27 two EDNs, respectively.

Optimal Multi-Objective Planning of Distribution System with Distributed Generation

This paper presents a multi-objective formulation for optimal siting and sizing of distributed generation (DG) resources in distribution systems in order to minimize the cost of power losses and energy not supplied. The implemented technique is based on a genetic algorithm (GA) and weight method that employed to obtain the best compromise between these costs. Simulation results on 33-bus distri...

Optimal Distributed Generation (DG) Allocation in Distribution Networks using an Improved Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Algorithm

Abstract: The development of distributed generation (DGs) units in recent years have created challenges in the operation of power grids, especially distribution networks. One of these issues is the optimal allocation (location and capacity) of these units in distribution networks. In this thesis, a method based on the improved ant colony optimization algorithm is presented to solve the problem ...
